What it does:

Moves the cursor to the NEXT field in the form without submitting anything.

Use TAB to:

  • Move from Name to Email field
  • Move from Email to Phone field
  • Navigate between all form fields
  • Move to dropdown menus
  • Jump to checkboxes and buttons
❌ Don't Use ENTER

ENTER Key

What it does:

SUBMITS the entire form immediately, even if you haven't filled all the fields!

Why NOT to use ENTER:

  • Submits form prematurely
  • Causes incomplete submissions
  • May create errors or warnings
  • Skips required fields
  • Forces you to start over
